Ema Shiroma-Chao Stepping Down from Director Role. Ittaana Krow to Act as Interim Gameplay Director

Ema Shiroma-Chao, Quidditch Canada’s Gameplay Director, will be stepping down from her role, effective immediately. 

Since the fall of 2015, Ema has been responsible for leading our Gameplay Department, standardizing our referee certification procedures, exploring a variety of tournament formats,  and improving the overall safety and structure of the game. She has worked tirelessly to organize the department and to advance the sport of quidditch in Canada, and we are incredibly grateful for her contributions. Though her work as a Director was invaluable, we are excited that she will be continuing her partnership with the organization in a Gameplay Coordinator capacity.
