Major Event Hosts Announced for the 2023-24 Season

Quadball Canada is proud to announce partnerships with both new and returning city and tourism partners for our Regional and National events for the upcoming 2023-24 season,

Western Regional Championship – Nov 11-12, Vernon, BC – in partnership with Tourism Vernon

For the first time, the Western Regional Championship will be hosted in the beautiful Okanagan, in partnership with Tourism Vernon. Vernon’s compelling bid outlines an exciting player experience for athletes, and their desire to bring quadball into the community going forward supports us in introducing this sport to new communities across the country.

Eastern Regional Championship – Nov 18-19, Guelph, ON

We are excited to return to Guelph, ON to host our Eastern Region teams this November. The Guelph University quadball program is a well-established and historical team in Canada, most recently supporting the coordination of the Eastern Regional Championship in 2019. We look forward to working closely with the Guelph program and its affiliates this year.

National Championship – March 16-17, Oshawa, ON – in partnership with Sport Durham

Our sport has had a rich history with Sport Durham and the City of Oshawa. They have hosted our Eastern Regional Championships in 2017, 2018, and most recently in 2022, as the first returning city partners following our COVID-19 suspension of in-person activities in 2020 and 2021. Oshawa’s high caliber facilities, incredible event support staff, and commitment to a quality player experience, make them the ideal hosts for our 2024 National Championship, which will be the first National Championship under the name “Quadball Canada.”

Stay tuned as we unveil more details about the championships that await in these destinations.

After successfully co-hosting three Eastern Regional Championships, the Region of Durham is excited to partner with Quadball Canada and the City of Oshawa to host the 2024 Quadball National Championship at the Civic Recreation Complex. Our Sport Durham team continues to support the growth of this inclusive sport in our community and looks forward to working together to provide athletes with memorable experiences.
