Department Managers Hired for Gameplay and Membership

Kyle Ross and Alex Downey-Ging have both been hired as leaders of Quidditch Canada’s Gameplay and Membership departments, respectively.

Alex Downey-Ging replaces Jill Staniec as the Membership Department Manager. Alex was co-captain of the Ryerson Quidditch club from 2012 to 2015, and has been involved with the sport since 2010. She has served as the Conventions Coordinator for Quidditch Canada since 2015, and brings her expertise in outreach to the Membership Manager role.

Kyle Ross replaces Ittaana Krow as the Gameplay Department Manager. Kyle is an experienced Head Referee who brings insightful knowledge of the rules and regulations of quidditch into this role, particularly following his time serving on the International Quidditch Association’s 2018-2020 Rulebook Team. He has been a volunteer with the Gameplay Department since 2017.

Both Jill Staniec and Ittaana Krow remain as coordinators within their respective departments. Their tenures as heads of department have deeply influenced Quidditch Canada as an organization, and we are grateful for the time and expertise they have lent to their roles.
